Jeremy Oltean

Born in Romania and raised in Calgary, Jeremy loves Canada and the opportunities and natural wonders it has to offer. He is proud of his European values in terms of food and family, but he likes to say that he bleeds maple syrup.

In 2007 Jeremy graduated from St. Francis Xavier University, a top ranked Canadian undergraduate University, where he majored in Economics and minored in English. Afterwards he started his career in banking and quickly found a love for the investment world.

The investments Jeremy is most passionate about are artificial intelligence, robotics, and space exploration. To better understand these new frontiers, in 2016 he left Calgary and spent time in San Francisco learning software development and deep diving into the world of technology. He then returned to Calgary and attained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, the highest level of certification a Financial Planner can achieve in Canada.

His mission is to leverage his traditional education with his unique knowledge of technology to help clients take advantage of the rapid changes happening in our world. He joined Acumen Capital Partners, a boutique wealth management firm, where he can select investments he strongly believes in without pressure to use proprietary, or “in-house” funds.
